Shaandaar (1st) First Day Box Office Collections

Shahid Kapoor’s Shaandaar movie has performed in the most shaandaar way possible at the Indian Box Office on the opening day.

The film was made on a budget of Rs 55 Crore and Rs 20 Crore was spent on the promotions. So having been made on a total budget of Rs 75 crores, the film is said to easily recover this amount over this long four days weekend.

Alia Bhatt and Shahid Kapoor, the lead actors of the movie have promoted the film extensively over the last month and their hardwork has paid off, for the movie ran in packed houses during the noon and evening shows.

Shaandaar Movie Opening day, Thursday being a Dussehra holiday nationwide has worked in the favour of the makers. According to trade experts, the film box office will easily make Rs 12.5 crores on the opening day.

It is highly unlikely that the film will beat the opening day record of Singh Is Bling (Rs 20.67 Crore) and Bajrangi Bhaijaan (Rs 27.25 Crore), but if it does make more than 15 crores, it will beat Brothers, ABCD 2 and Welcome Back records.

According to trade buzz, the film would have grossed Rs 12.5 Crore on opening day and Rs 45-55 crores by the end of this long weekend.
