Indian Institute of Science (IISC) Bangalore has issued Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) GATE 2016 is an all India examination that tests on all the global understanding of the candidates in the different areas of undergraduate Engineering / Technology / Architecture and graduate level courses in Science in Engineering / Technology / Architecture and graduate level courses in Science.
The Indian Institute of Science (IISC) and seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, and Roorkee) jointly manage the realization of GATE. GATE-related operations in each of the zones 8 are managed by zonal GATE office in IIT or IISc. The Institute of GATE 2016 is the Indian Institute of Science.

GATE payments for 2016 would have to be done over the Internet by using Internet banking or debit card or e-Challan facilities. Additional charges will apply according to the rule of the bank where the money is transferred. This fee is specified in the payment gateway.
